DescriptionThe z/OS Data Gatherer is IBM's strategic product to collect and provide z/OS data that is used for performance analysis and capacity planning.
In 2022 we introduced the SMF REST Services to provide you an easy method to access your collected SMF data via REST calls.
With the added support of Monitor-II and -most recently- Monitor-III we now are able to provide you a strong portfolio for accessing your mainframe data in a modern way.
While Monitor-III adds a powerful short-term reporting to the stack, Monitor-II provides a snapshot reporting of your systems by enabling the versatile IBM Function Registry.
This no-additional-license offering is topped by IBM SMF Explorer which leverages Python and Jupyter Notebooks to even further simplify the access, manipulation and understanding of your SMF data.
