By delivering consistent, intuitive, and accessible interactions across APIs, CLI, IDEs, and UI with AI assistance throughout, the Next Generation of z/OS aims to accelerate the understanding of and proficiency using the Z platform. The goal is to empower new-to-Z users to contribute meaningful, production‑relevant work in months rather than years.
